Just when we thought we couldn\u2019t find somewhere perfect, we discovered Castello di Titignano! We visited in February 2020 and totally fell in love with the location, food, drink and the absolutely amazing service of the staff who went above and beyond during our stay.<\/p>\n
Fiorenza and the whole events team were so helpful and friendly from day one right up to the wedding, which was just what we needed as we planned the whole event ourselves from the UK without being able to visit. The team were so supportive and flexible when we had to postpone our wedding from 2021 to 2022 due to the pandemic. We only had one miscommunication over chairs for the ceremony that the team sorted right away once we realised.<\/p>\n
When the day finally arrived in July 2022 everything went perfectly. Our guests arrived on Friday night on coaches the venue helped us arrange and stayed until Monday, with a Pizza party on the Friday and typical Italian lunch on the Sunday. They all loved their rustic rooms and the fact that we had exclusive use of this characterful venue. All of the food and wine throughout was incredible, and the staff even pre-ordered and refrigerated a huge amount of Peroni for our guests to help themselves for free throughout. It was amazing having the place totally to ourselves for the weekend to be able to dance late into the night and then stumble back to our rooms.<\/p>\n
On the wedding day, getting ready in (air-conditioned!) Masi Grande looking at the view was like a fairy-tale, as was the ceremony on the grass overlooking Lake Corbara. Everything ran perfectly and the staff made all the hard work that went in behind the scenes look seamless. We had appetisers in the courtyard and then dinner in the main square under the romantic lights, followed by a party back in the courtyard with an open bar. The setting for every part of the day could not have been any more picturesque!<\/p>\n
It was absolutely beyond our wildest dreams, and we couldn\u2019t recommend Castello di Titignano any more highly! Many of our guests said it was easily the best wedding they have ever been to, and we still feel so incredibly lucky to have got married in such a magical place.<\/p>\n
